Is my donation tax deductible?

  • Lions Volunteer Blind Industries is a 501 (C) 3 not-for-profit organization, and as such, all donations are tax-deductible.

How will the donations be used?

  •  All donations into this fund go directly to eligible blind workers in the form of scholarship wages.

Doesn't Volunteer Blind Industries get funding support from the government?

  • No. Lions Volunteer Blind Industries does manufacture goods for the Federal Govenment, but we must compete with other manufacturing companies on price and quality.  

Someone called me asking for a donation, did that call actually come from Volunteer Blind Industries?

  • Yes, Lions Volunteer Blind Industries has a new "Contact Center".  This contact center is primarialy staffed with "Blind Agents" that use special technology.  You can learn more about that on our "Call Center" page.
